Terms of Service
The rules, without the fog.
These Terms govern your use of Lensy. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to them.
Effective and last updated: 22 August 2026
Important subscription summary
- Subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple.
- They renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The price and billing period shown in the App Store purchase sheet at confirmation are the controlling terms.
- Deleting your Lensy account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
1. The service
Lensy processes a photo you choose and applies a selected camera-style look using automated image-processing technology. Results can vary with the source photo, scene, lighting, model behavior, and service availability. Lensy does not promise that every result will meet a particular professional, artistic, or commercial standard.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. You are responsible for your Apple account, your Lensy session, and activity performed through them.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Lensy Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Apple charges your Apple Account after confirmation and handles renewals, billing issues, cancellations, and refunds under Apple’s terms. You can manage the subscription in Lensy Settings or Apple’s subscription settings.
“Unlimited” means Lensy does not impose a fixed monthly photo allowance. Reasonable automated-abuse controls apply, currently up to 30 generation starts per hour and 3 simultaneous processing jobs per account. We may adjust operational limits to protect reliability, prevent misuse, or control abnormal automated traffic without turning the subscription into a metered monthly plan.
4. Your photos and rights
You keep your rights in photos you submit and results generated for you, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. You grant Lensy and its service providers a limited right to host, transmit, copy, and process your selected content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.
You must have permission to process every submitted photo. Do not submit content that unlawfully violates privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use Lensy to:
- Process illegal, exploitative, abusive, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Create or process sexual content involving minors.
- Harass, impersonate, defraud, or violate another person’s privacy or rights.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, automate around limits, or interfere with the service.
- Share access, resell processing, or use Lensy as an unauthorized service bureau.
- Bypass subscriptions, security checks, rate controls, or account restrictions.
6. AI and generated results
Automated processing can make unexpected changes or produce inaccurate or unsuitable results. Review outputs before publishing or relying on them. You are responsible for how you use and share results, including obtaining permissions from people shown in a photo.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Lensy available, but processing may be interrupted by networks, Apple, cloud providers, AI providers, maintenance, safety controls, or events outside our control. We may update, replace, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.
8. Account suspension and deletion
You can delete your account from Settings. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, abuse, legal requirements, or threats to users or infrastructure. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lensy is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
10. Apple terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms for the iOS app, the Apple terms control to that extent.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information and photos are processed and retained.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
